Drop off: Frozen (never thawed) turkey's, non-perishable groceries.
(You may drop off frozen turkey's in the kitchen freezer before Saturday morning if it is more convenient.)
To benefit: Community Food Bank of New Jersey
The Iris Family Center is collecting non-perishable groceries in conjunction with this Temple-wide effort. We want to take this opportunity to teach a lesson about Tzedakah (charity).
Please take a family trip to the grocery store or your own cupboards and have your child choose a favorite food to give to someone in need. Send in the can or box of food in your child's backpack during the week of November 16th-21st.
